Jonathan Ng

Jonathan is a research engineer specialising in AI safety and applied machine learning. He currently serves as a Special Projects Associate at the Singapore AI Safety Institute, where he runs national AI Safety and research-engineering fellowships for top Singapore universities. His prior work spans red-teaming and evaluating LLM agents for cybersecurity risk as first author of the Catastrophic Cyber Capabilities Benchmark (3CB), interpretability research at Cadenza Labs and the Machine Alignment Theory Scholars programme, and founding Surveyor, an AI-powered survey platform. Earlier, as a full-stack engineer at LeadIQ, he shipped production features from OAuth-based self-serve SSO to Slack integrations. Jonathan brings this grounding in rigorous LLM evaluation and safety-conscious engineering to RTIA, helping ensure the assistant behaves reliably and responsibly in real, high-stakes airport situations.
